mimir? no idea if you're getting this but i've got a huge favor to ask
or maybe some kind of exchange to make with you??
i got a job as one of your skalds because i'd been collecting plants (so why not make an actual thing of it right?)
and i was just wondering if there was uh
any way to help me out with something that might tell what plants are dangerous or not?
yes hello
i'm the one that should be sorry, honestly
my lord?? oh shit sorry
hope that wasn't disrespectful

❰ but how would this best be approached? hm. ❱
I'm able to offer the ability to detect the magical effect of a given plant, should that plant contain any form of magic. Note that ordinary poison doesn't register as magic.
Alternatively, I'm able to offer a moment's precognition of the aftereffects that consuming a plant might have. This applies to the more mundane, non-magical variety just the same, but the precognition won't be comfortable.

(this is going way better than the meeting i had with odin)
[klaus, you idiot, shut the hell up.]
that's fine i'm pretty alright at detecting most recognizable earth-looking plants
like i found hemlock and knew what it was and that it shouldn't be consumed
unless you wanna die
anyway
what exactly kind of uncomfortable are we talking about here?
just weighing my options since i've been in some pretty compromising positions already
